According to the CBC and the City of Calgary, December had a record snowfall that broke a 112 year record. The City of Calgary tweeted that 43.8 centimetres of snow had fallen in December after Calgarians had complained about the slow or lack of snow removal from their streets and neighborhoods. “A total of 43.8 cm of snow has fallen in #yyc this month. We haven’t seen this much snow in 112 years!” the city said in its tweet.
